Procedures for Preventing and Faclilitating Reporting of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

This tool contains two sample policies that establish the definition of sexual harassment in the workplace and provides examples of prohibited conduct in the workplace and outlines procedures for reporting such behavior. The samples consider two forms of sexual harassment prohibited by U.S. law and the company policy: quid pro quo and hostile work environment.

In these policies, any employee who believes that he or she has been subjected to sexual harassment by an employee is encouraged to promptly tell the person that the conduct is unwelcome and to stop such conduct.
