This sample process flow can be used as a general guide to understanding and reviewing the steps in an organization’s termination process. In this sample, during the termination process, HR is notified of the problematic employee, a request for termination is submitted to the HR director for approval, the CSM is notified if the request cannot be processed, severance pay is determined, and a termination letter is prepared and sent to the appropriate CSM.
Organizations should customize this tool to ensure that it reflects their business operations and continuously monitor the process to ensure that the steps described are accurate.
