This description outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for the vice president, corporate audit role. This position reports to the senior vice president, corporate audit of the company, with additional functional responsibilities to the company group deputy CFO.
The vice president, corporate audit is responsible for developing the internal audit department with involvement in the financial, operational and IT areas of all of a company’s operating divisions. Specifically, his/her responsibilities include day-to-day management of the internal audit function and supervision of a corporate audit department; performing an annual risk assessment of the business; and more.
