Assessing the Elements You Need for a Credible Site Audit
Conducting a site audit is at the heart of an internal auditor’s job. It’s a way for a company to get a read on its risk management processes, to assess its susceptibility to fraud, to monitor the strength of its IT controls, and to get a handle on how well policies and procedures are working when it comes to purchase transactions and cash disbursement. This questionnaire includes an extensive — but not exhaustive — list of questions typically used to drill down to the facts and figures needed to create a credible site audit.
Topics include: contract administration, professional services, credit and collections, commissions, purchasing and receiving, and accounts payable.
