Security Access Badges Policy: Internal Audit Insights
This sample memo serves as a report of an internal audit function’s high-level assessment of the security access badges process.
In this sample, support center employees are granted access from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to all external doors of the building unless otherwise requested by their supervisor or based on job requirements, call center employees are granted access from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. to accommodate shift needs and are granted access solely through front and rear doors, and additional access is granted based on an employee’s department and job requirements and requires the approval of the applicable department head.
