Remote Network Access Policy

This policy outlines procedures for remote network access. It applies to all company employees, contractors, vendors and agents with a company-owned or personally-owned PC or workstation used to connect to the company network. Remote access connections used to do work on behalf of a company, including reading or sending email and viewing intranet web resources also apply to this policy.

These standards are designed to minimize a company’s potential exposure to damages that may result from unauthorized use of company resources. Damages include, but are not limited to, the loss of sensitive or company confidential data, intellectual property, damage to public image, and damage to critical internal systems.
