How to Manage IT Changes in Mergers and Acquisitions
The purpose of this IT Acquisition and Divestiture Policy is to establish requirements for the integration of or separation from a company.
In this sample, entities integrated with an organization should adopt existing company standards (regardless of any deficiencies in compliance) and should not seek to create new standards or be responsible for resolving any issues with existing standards. The division CIO or appointed designee must complete the IT due diligence template with the assistance of the target company or divesting entity. The template must consider if mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity requires that a new standard be introduced.
