In this policy, each employee is expected and encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for their personal development and training concerning their work within the framework of support provided by the company. This includes taking an active role in planning their personal development through the annual performance reviews and undertaking agreed-upon development and training activities. Line managers are responsible for ensuring that their employees' development and training needs are identified and appropriately addressed.
