Thomas DiNapoli is the 54th comptroller of New York, a cabinet officer of the state of New York and head of the New York state government's department of audit and control. As comptroller, DiNapoli is the state’s chief fiscal officer ensuring that state and local governments use taxpayer money effectively and efficiently to promote the common good. DiNapoli was elected state comptroller in 2007 and was reelected comptroller by New York’s voters in 2010, 2014 and 2018. In this interview, Joe Kornik, editor-in-chief of VISION by Protiviti, sat down with DiNapoli to discuss the future of New York City.
